Overview

A beautifully expressive Viognier showing the rich, sun-drenched character of Stellenbosch. The nose bursts with ripe stone fruits—apricot and peach dominate—supported by delicate floral notes of orange blossom and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied yet fresh, with a viscous texture typical of quality Viognier. The finish is satisfying and persistent.

A luminous, inviting appearance with the characteristic golden hue of ripe Viognier. The medium intensity suggests concentration without heaviness.

Nose

Intensely aromatic from the first swirl. Ripe apricot dominates—sun-warmed and generous—followed by waves of white peach and juicy pear. The floral dimension is captivating: orange blossom drifts through, with hints of honeysuckle adding a heady, almost exotic quality. A whisper of butter and brioche from barrel contact adds richness without overwhelming the fruit. This is Viognier at its most expressive.

Terroir

Stellenbosch benefits from a Mediterranean climate with cooling influences from False Bay. The granitic and sandstone soils contribute to the wine's mineral backbone while allowing excellent drainage. Warm days and cool nights preserve acidity while developing rich fruit character.
